HR Director / Sr. HRBP Manager

Position Summary

The Head of HR is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for shaping and driving the company's people strategy to enable sustainable business growth. This role oversees the full spectrum of HR functions—including organizational development, talent acquisition, performance & rewards, employee relations, HR operations, and HR digitalization—while building a high-performing, future-ready organization.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with strong business acumen, leadership maturity, and the ability to influence at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Strategy & Organizational Development

  • Develop and execute the overall HR strategy aligned with business goals and long-term company growth.
  • Lead organizational design initiatives, job leveling, workforce planning, and capability building.
  • Drive organizational culture, mission, vision, and values across all levels.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on change management programs, productivity improvement, and cross-regional organizational alignment.

2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Build and lead an end-to-end talent acquisition strategy to ensure timely hiring of critical and strategic roles.
  • Strengthen employer branding to enhance talent attraction in competitive markets.
  • Manage recruitment agencies, sourcing channels, and candidate experience to improve hiring efficiency and ROI.

3. Performance Management & Total Rewards

  • Oversee the design and implementation of a performance management framework (OKRs/KPIs) that aligns business and individual goals.
  • Lead compensation and benefits strategy, including salary structures, annual cycles, incentive schemes, and long/short-term rewards.
  • Provide guidance on market benchmarking, internal equity, and cost optimization.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Maintain a healthy, compliant, and positive employee relations environment.
  • Develop employee engagement strategies, including engagement surveys, communication mechanisms, and culture programs.
  • Provide coaching to leaders on conflict management, disciplinary actions, and team dynamics.

5. Leadership Development & Learning

  • Design leadership development and talent acceleration programs to build strong management capability.
  • Drive succession planning, talent mapping, and career development frameworks.
  • Ensure learning & development programs address critical competency gaps.

6. HR Operations, Compliance & HR Digitalization

  • Ensure efficient and compliant HR operations, including payroll, contracts, onboarding/offboarding, and HR policy execution.
  • Oversee local and regional labor law compliance, audits, and HR risk management.
  • Lead HRIS implementation, HR analytics, and digital initiatives to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Create data-driven insights through dashboards and people analytics tools.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree or above in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related fields.
  • 8–15+ years of full-spectrum HR experience, with at least 3 years in a Head of HR / HR Director / HRBP Lead role.
  • Proven ability to design and scale HR systems in organizations ranging from 100 to 500+ employees (or in rapid-growth environments).
  • Strong foundation in organizational development, performance management, compensation & benefits, and senior-level recruitment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business-aligned HR initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of local employment laws and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, or other fast-changing industries.
  • Exposure to multinational or multi-country HR management.
  • Coaching certification or leadership facilitation background.
