Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Senior HRBP) to support our growing Singapore manufacturing operations. This role will partner closely with business leaders across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and corporate functions to drive organizational growth, workforce readiness, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, build-up environment and capable of balancing strategic HR partnership with hands-on operational execution. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, employee relations, workforce scaling, and Singapore employment practices.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Organizational Support

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with operational and organizational goals.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational development, succession planning, and talent strategies.
  • Provide practical HR guidance to managers on employee management, team effectiveness, and organizational challenges.
  • Support organizational changes, business transformation initiatives, and workforce scaling activities.
  • Use HR metrics and workforce insights to support business decisions and identify improvement opportunities.

Talent Management & Workforce Development

  • Support performance management, employee development, and career progression initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring plans, workforce ramp-up, and onboarding activities.
  • Assist in building strong technical and leadership talent pipelines to support business growth.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives across the organization.
  • Support workforce stabilization efforts in a rapidly growing manufacturing environment.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee issues while maintaining consistency and fairness.
  • Support HR audits, policy implementation, and compliance-related activities.

Manufacturing & Operational HR Support

  • Support both direct labor (DL) and indirect labor (IDL) employee populations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Partner with operations leaders on shift-based workforce planning, attendance, engagement, and workforce challenges.
  • Support operational growth initiatives including production ramp-up, automation, and new site expansion activities.
  • Collaborate on HR operational activities including onboarding, employee communications, policy rollout, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to building scalable HR processes and programs to support long-term business growth.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Build strong working relationships with local, regional, and global stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Act as a trusted HR advisor during periods of organizational growth and change.
  • Mentor junior HR team members and support knowledge sharing within the HR team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes and programs.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience supporting manufacturing start-up, greenfield, or expansion projects.
  • Experience supporting shift-based manufacturing operations.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, IHRP, or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience working with regional or global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday is preferred.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, electronics, semiconductor, or high-tech environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and employee relations practices.
  • Experience supporting workforce ramp-up or high-growth business environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
