About the Role

We are seeking a strong HR candidate with excellent payroll processing experience. If you have payroll processing experience for APAC or EMEA, we are expanding our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to our business leaders, ensuring full compliance with local and regional labor laws. This role requires a professional with a strong generalist background, including hands-on experience in implementation, payroll, benefits, onboarding, absence, audits and terminations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Advise on employee relations and ensure compliance with Singaporean and broader Asian labor laws. Act as the main point of contact for internal and external labor audits, including the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation. Maintain proper filing and documentation for all relevant documents.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Support full recruitment process and end-to-end employee onboarding.
  • Payroll and Compensation Support: Support the full cycle end-to-end payroll processes, administer employee benefits eligibility (e.g., health insurance, leave policies, retirement funds). Ensure employees, vendors and statutory taxes accuracy, in compliance and payments in due time.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use HR data to inform decision-making. Ensure data completeness and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.

Experience

  • Proven HRBP or generalist experience, preferably in APAC or EMEA
  • Hands-on and strong experience with payroll processes.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore's Employment Act and knowledge of other Asian or EMEA labor laws.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles related to payroll and HR budgets.
  • Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Competencies: Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. The candidate should also have integrity and attention to detail.
