The Human Resources (HR) Assistant Manager role offers the opportunity to support a broad range of HR operations within a Japanese company in Singapore. This role is ideal for an HR generalist with experience in employee administration, HR systems, visa matters, and supporting a multicultural workplace environment.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities
- Assist with the administration of the HR evaluation system
- Support the application, renewal, and cancellation of work visas and dependent visas
- Administer employee insurance matters
- Arrange medical check-ups and health screenings for expatriates
- Support other ad hoc HR and administrative duties
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Knowledge of HR systems, digitalisation, and automation is an advantage
- Knowledge of Singapore labour law and experience working in a multicultural environment
- Japanese language proficiency is an advantage for internal and external communication
