Job Description

Primary Objectives of Position

  • Responsible for the timely recruitment and retention of the highest quality people in support of the overall rail business operation. Maintain and submit the various reports pertaining to recruitment and manpower.
  • Ensure compliance and facilitate proper administration of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effective delivery of HR services across the rail business.

Major Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Work with the HR team from all functions to ensure the team meets recruitment goals and delivers high-quality candidates to the organization.
  • Initiate discussions with hiring managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to conduct workforce planning including understanding their talent needs and priorities.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies aligned with the organization's goals and growth plans. This involves understanding the company's talent needs, market trends, and competition to devise strategies for attracting and retaining top talents.
  • Administer the full suite of recruitment from end-to-end, ensuring the attraction, sourcing, selection, and onboarding of talents to meet the rail business staffing needs.
  • Actively organize and participate in mass recruitment exercises. Manage and attend recruitment activities and events such as walk-in interviews, roadshows, recruitment fairs, etc.
  • Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the organization's employer branding to attract top talents. This involves showcasing the company's culture, values, and opportunities through various channels such as social media, job fairs, employer branding initiatives, campus recruitment and social enterprises, networking events, etc.

Audits

  • Work in partnership with Centre of Excellence and Shared Services for all internal and external HR & Training audits.

Ad-hoc projects when assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Education / Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Preferably more than 2 years of relevant experience in sizeable organization. Experience in mass hiring will be an advantage.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Well versed in Singapore's labour laws (e.g. Employment Act)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (please note that excel tests might be conducted prior to selection)
  • Good interpersonal and writing skills
  • Strong analytical, organization and planning skills

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Independent and ability to guide and mentor.
  • Comfortable to work in fast-paced environment under stress and time constraints.
