Recruitment & Onboarding: Drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. They also manage onboarding to ensure new hires integrate smoothly.
Payroll & Benefits: Maintaining accurate employee records and collaborating with Finance to ensure timely salary payments, CPF contributions, and the administration of medical insurance or leave entitlements.
Compliance & Policy: Ensuring all HR activities align with local labor laws, such as the Employment Act in Singapore, and updating the employee handbook.
Employee Relations: Acting as the first point of contact for staff grievances, disciplinary issues, and general inquiries regarding company policy or workplace culture.
Performance Management: Facilitating the annual appraisal process, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and assisting managers with performance improvement plans.
Training & Development: Identifying skill gaps and coordinating internal or external training sessions to promote continuous learning.
