Drive key HR initiatives across departments, including staffing, performance management, compensation planning, succession planning, training and development, rewards & recognition, organizational effectiveness and employee communication to support the organization mission, culture and growth.
HR Policies & Procedures
Design and implement HR strategies and initiatives to create structure, HR processes, performance systems, solutions and metrics for effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are in compliance with prevailing employment laws.
Compliance & Reporting
Keep abreast with changes on Employment Act and other relevant laws and ensure full compliance.
Submit MOM surveys as required by law.
HR Partnership
Ensure HR department and staff deliver operational support and partnership to leadership team, managers and staff.
Employee Relations / Employee Engagement
Address all employee relations matters, concerns and grievances with expediency including conducting exit interviews.
Plan and organize monthly staff breakfast catering.
Organise and execute quarterly and annual staff bonding activities and staff lunches/dinners.
Recruitment and Contract Matters
Responsible for end-to-end recruitment which includes crafting Job Descriptions, On Boarding/Orientation program for staff, advertisement, etc.
Prepare letter of appointments, arrange pre-employment medical check-ups, on boarding, orientation for new staff.
Track probation and contract expiry and initiate reviews.
Process resignations/terminations and follow up on off-boarding needs, exit interviews and clearance.
Performance Appraisal
Plan and execute the Annual Performance Appraisal Process, provide training and coach to leadership team as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Review compensation and benefits, administer an efficient annual salary/bonus program, makes appropriate recommendations to ensure ability to retain staff and worker support.
Staff benefits administration and claims including medical/dental, transport, mobile phone, laundry, ministry resource claims and leave administration.
Prepare annual HR budget.
Insurance
Arrange for insurance coverage of assets and staff and handles claims for staff
Annual review of insurance of assets, staff, cash-in-transit, assets, vehicle and other general insurance.
Payroll
Process monthly payroll and ensure timely payment of monthly salaries and CPF contributions.
Ensure income tax reporting is accurately and timely submitted.
Compute financial support for Missionaries and submit to Finance to remit.
