Overall Job Responsibility
As a Senior Manager, HRM, you will lead the effective management and continuous improvement of HR policies, processes and systems, including driving the implementation of a new Human Resource Management System (HRMS). You will also help to strengthen the organisation's ability to anticipate workforce changes and support employees through career transitions, reskilling and redeployment.
Duties and Responsibilities
HRMS Implementation
- Lead the implementation of the new HRMS, partnering closely with the vendor(s) to carry out required activities from requirement gathering and configuration to testing, data migration, deployment, end user training and change management
- Partner with HR and ICT colleagues as well as business users to ensure that the design of the new HRMS incorporates the needs of staff, business users and meets ICT requirements
- Propose process improvements to streamline or automate HR processes to enhance employee experience
- Leverage HRMS capabilities to strengthen HR data management, reporting and analytics
- Develop and enhance HR dashboards and reports to support workforce and management decision-making
- Ensure accuracy, integrity and appropriate governance of HR data and employee records
HR Policy and Governance
- Identify trends and insights from HR data and HR best practices to inform policy and process improvements
- Conduct reviews of HR policies, guidelines and practices from time to time, to ensure they remain relevant, compliant and aligned with evolving workforce needs
- Establish process documentation, service standards and appropriate controls for HR operations
Career Transition and Workforce Adaptability
- Develop and implement strategies to support staff in navigating evolving job requirements and career pathways arising from organisational changes
- Leverage workforce data and insights to anticipate changing skills requirements and proactively develop strategies to strengthen workforce capability, employability and career resilience
- Support staff whose roles or skills are evolving by facilitating career conversations, skills assessment, learning opportunities and pathways to new or enhanced roles
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
- Degree in HR, Business or related fields
- At least 6 years of experience in HR policy, HR operations and HR transformation
- Proven experience in implementing HRM system(s), preferably involving end-to-end project management
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and communication skills
- Comfortable in working with HR data and analytics
- Proactive, resourceful and resilient
