About the Role

As a People Intern, you will play an integral role in supporting the People team across a variety of HR functions. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from candidate experience and recruitment operations to policy development and employee engagement initiatives. Working closely with different team members, you will help shape and maintain a positive, well-supported culture within a growing organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • People Operations: Take ownership of operational processes for the internship programme, including creating personnel files and managing onboarding/offboarding communications. Identify and onboard new vendors to provide internal staff discounts.
  • People Policies: Support research, review, and revision of HR policies to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with the company's global needs.
  • People Experience: Assist with internal communications regarding People policies and initiatives. Help coordinate internal engagement and learning events. Support the creation of content for internal training sessions and develop self-help tools to address common employee queries.
  • Candidate Experience: Assist with recruitment operations, including scheduling interviews, posting roles on job boards, and communicating with candidates and hiring teams. Support the full-cycle internship recruitment process by screening resumes, sharing candidate profiles, and gathering feedback from hiring managers.

Requirements

Core Requirements:

  • A keen interest in people, policies, and how they function within an SME environment.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to embrace a variety of projects while working with different members of the People team.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum internship period of 3 months.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Specialisation in Human Resources or a related diploma/degree is preferred, but not necessary.
