Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee the full spectrum of Human Resource functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment regulations, and supporting the organization's business objectives through effective people management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Human Resource functions including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, training and development, employee engagement, and employee relations to support organizational goals
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and other relevant Singapore labour laws by monitoring and updating HR processes accordingly
  • Coordinate work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations, liaising with government authorities to maintain legal compliance
  • Administer employee performance appraisal processes and facilitate career development initiatives to enhance workforce capability
  • Advise management on HR matters including disciplinary actions and employee relations to foster a positive work environment
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, manpower plans, and workforce analytics to inform strategic decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with data protection standards
  • Support organizational development, succession planning, and change management initiatives to drive business growth
  • Manage HR budgets and oversee administrative HR functions to ensure operational efficiency
  • Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF regulations, MOM work pass requirements, and other employment legislation to ensure legal compliance
  • Experience handling the full spectrum of HR functions for at least 5 years to effectively manage HR operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support HR administrative tasks
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities to deliver consistent HR support

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Positive attitude with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills to drive team performance
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and decision-making abilities to influence HR strategy and outcomes
  • Experience in payroll administration and HRIS systems to enhance HR process efficiency
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
