About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to manage and support end-to-end HR operations for an offshore engineering project based in Singapore. This role covers the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to contract administration, compliance, and internal audit coordination. The position requires a hands-on HR practitioner who can ensure operational efficiency, compliance accuracy, and effective stakeholder communication in a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage the complete onboarding process, including coordination with subcontractors and preparation of employment-related documents (contracts, confidentiality agreements, and code of conduct forms).
- Handle employment contract renewals and extensions, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up.
- Administer employee offboarding and exit procedures in accordance with company policy and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and compliant HR records and personnel files.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage employee time and attendance data prepare and validate monthly HR reports.
- Support internal and external audit preparation and follow-up on audit findings.
- Handle employee requests for official letters, certifications, endorsements, and company stamp approvals.
- Support statutory compliance processes, including social insurance, CPF contributions, and employee benefits administration.
Recruitment & Workforce Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and agency/vendor management.
- Track and report recruitment metrics such as CV submissions, interview outcomes, and onboarding status.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to fulfill manpower requirements efficiently.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in HR process enhancement initiatives and contribute to operational best practices.
- Provide on-site HR support for project-specific needs, ensuring smooth coordination between project and corporate HR functions.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within the oil and gas or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, including onboarding, contract administration, recruitment, and compliance.
- Experience supporting project-based or site-based HR operations is an advantage.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English for communication with project stakeholders and client representatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and independence in a fast-paced environment.
