Responsibilities
. Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions in areas of Recruitment and Selection, Employee and Industrial Relations, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, and Learning and Development.
. Identify the recruitment needs of Department Managers, drafting job descriptions, liaising with recruitment agencies, coordinating and conducting interviews.
. Manage the employee life cycle, including onboarding (contract and letter administration) and exit management.
. Handle all work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations, and liaise with MOM for any work pass-related matters.
. Maintenance and documentation of relevant personnel files, as well as annual employment contract renewal.
. Administration and management of all government-paid leave claims process and NS Make-up claims process.
. Process monthly payroll and yearly income tax for employees.
. Involved in employee engagement activities, which include managing employee grievances/ counselling and disciplinary issues.
. Liaise closely with Department Managers in providing the necessary HR support.
. Liaise with the Union on industrial labour relations activities, as well as handling negotiations on the Collective Agreement.
. Stay abreast with MOM legalization to ensure the Company's compliance with all legally mandated employment, labour laws, and regulatory requirements.
. Provide coordination support for regional HR activities.
. Plan, prepare yearly HR budget and manage expenses within the budget.
. Review and revise HR policies and employee handbook as and when needed.
Requirements
. Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field, preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry.
. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
. Highly motivated with an eye for detail and quality of work.
. Resourceful, adaptable and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
. Well-versed in local employment legislation and market practices.
. Proficient in MS Office.
