Job Description

We're Hiring: Human Resource Business Partner

Creating Moments. Connecting Members. Building Community.

This role sits at the intersection of HR operations and people development, with meaningful scope across both.

As our HR Business Partner, you will work across two areas that are central to how we grow as a Club: keeping our people operations running well and building a learning culture with real impact. You will partner closely with department leaders, support managers through the full people lifecycle, and take ownership of how we design and deliver learning across the club.

This is a close, hands-on partnership role with direct access and accountability to the top of the HR function. If this sounds like the right fit, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations and Business Partnering

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned departments, supporting everything from recruitment through to offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and system updates.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job descriptions, sourcing, interview coordination, and reference checks.
  • Advise and support managers on employee relations, performance management, and people challenges.
  • Help leaders build cohesive teams and handle difficult conversations with fairness and confidence.
  • Drive performance review cycles and follow through on development and improvement plans.
  • Ensure HR policies are applied consistently, fairly, and in line with employment regulations.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Support HRIS projects and ongoing improvements to how we work as an HR function.

Training and Learning

  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programmes across the Club.
  • Partner with department heads to identify capability gaps and develop practical, relevant learning solutions.
  • Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, facilitator guides, and learner resources.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, track attendance and completion, and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a structured learning framework that supports growth at every level.
  • Build momentum around a culture of continuous learning, where development is part of how we work, not an afterthought.
  • Support other operational duties as assigned by the Director, Human Resources.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, and employee relations, ideally within F&B, hospitality, or a service-driven environment.
  • Experience in training design and delivery, including the development of SOPs, learner guides, and facilitation materials.
  • Experience with Info-Tech (HRIS) is a strong plus.
  • Good with Microsoft Office. Canva skills are a nice extra.
  • A clear and confident communicator who builds trust with people at all levels.
  • Well organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities without losing focus.
  • Genuinely people-focused, with the drive to make a real difference in the employee experience.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, knowing when each is needed.
