We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to support both HR operations and office administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting employees, and maintaining efficient HR processes across the company.
Key Responsibilities
1.HR Operations & Administration
. Support the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management, and employee welfare.
. Coordinate interview scheduling and liaise with candidates and hiring managers to ensure smooth hiring processes.
. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (e.g. personal files, attendance, leave, medical claims).
. Assist in drafting and maintaining HR policies, SOPs, and documentation.
. Support employee engagement initiatives such as surveys and feedback collection.
. Assist in handling employee queries, workplace issues, and basic disciplinary matters where required.
. Liaise with government authorities and statutory bodies, and support HR reporting.
. Coordinate training programs including vendor liaison, logistics, and tracking participation.
2. Office Administration
. Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations, including maintenance and vendor coordination.
. Manage office supplies, pantry, and stationery to ensure adequate stock levels.
. Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, accommodation) for employees and management.
. Assist with IT coordination (e.g. liaising with vendors for basic troubleshooting).
. Support company events, lunches, and employee welfare activities.
. Perform ad hoc HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
. Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred (fresh graduates are welcome).
. Strong organisational and communication skills.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
. Able to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
