HR Operations Generalist (Supply Chain), Singapore

As an HR Operations Generalist, you will manage the full spectrum of HR functions within a fast-paced Supply Chain environment. This includes the end-to-end payroll processing, work pass administration and managing the complete onboarding and offboarding cycle. The role also requires proficiency in Workday, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and HR systems maintenance. You will also support performance management, benefits administration and re-employment processes while ensuring regulatory compliance through audit preparation and monthly reporting. In addition, this role encompasses general administrative responsibilities including vendor management, employee welfare coordination and transport logistics.

The Position:

HR Operations

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll inputs and changes, ensuring timely and accurate submission in compliance with company policies
  • Manage full lifecycle of employment passes including applications, renewals and cancellations, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Create and maintain accurate employee profiles, ensuring data integrity across the HR system
  • Draft and issue a full suite of HR documents including offer letters, employment contracts, resignation acknowledgements, warning letters, salary adjustments, promotions, market adjustment letters and recognition awards.
  • Administer employee insurance enrolments and process timely de-registrations for resignees.
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding experience, encompassing offer letter issuance, pre-employment medical checks, system setup, permit applications, employee card issuance and insurance enrolment
  • Execute full offboarding procedures including benefits and leave pro-ration, Workday updates, payroll notifications, work pass cancellations and insurance de-registration
  • Track and manage employee benefits entitlements including education claims for employees dependants
  • Support year-end and off-cycle performance review processes, coordinating with managers to ensure timely completion
  • Oversee re-employment processes for eligible employees including medical scheduling and contract renewal preparation
  • Verify vendor invoices via Xflow and support new hire expense account setup on Concur
  • Coordinate employee welfare initiatives including vendor-sourced gifts for key life events such as hospitalisation, newborns and bereavements
  • Lead preparation and response for internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and full compliance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Own the preparation and timely submission of monthly business reports including headcount and man-hour reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency for stakeholder review


General Administration

  • Coordinate the company lunch programme, managing vendor liaison, order consolidation and on-time delivery
  • Administer employee recreational benefits including zoo pass distribution and vendor coordination
  • Manage company transport logistics, overseeing van shuttle schedules and resolving vendor issues such as no-shows, cancellations and ad-hoc trip requests

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant HR Operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Laws and Regulations
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR Systems. Experience in Workday is an added advantage
  • Meticulous with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels and diverse backgrounds
  • Forward-thinking and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for process improvement
  • A committed learner who takes initiative and adapts well in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience in audit preparation and monthly internal reporting is an added advantage
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or supply chain environment is an added advantage
