Job Description

An established organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Human Resource Executive (People & Culture) to support daily HR operations, recruitment, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.

This role is ideal for HR professionals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and familiar with Singapore employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interview arrangements, and offer preparation

  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies for contract and foreign workforce hiring

  • Prepare employment contracts, letters of appointment, and onboarding documentation

  • Ensure reference checks and recruitment processes comply with regulatory requirements

HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records (contracts, personal data, leave records, disciplinary documentation)

  • Support payroll data inputs, leave administration, and attendance tracking

  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including confirmation, transfers, renewals, and resignations

  • Prepare HR reports and documentation for management review and audits

Employee Relations & Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries

  • Support disciplinary and grievance processes in accordance with company policies

  • Contribute to fostering a fair, respectful, and positive workplace environment

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure HR practices comply with Singapore employment laws and internal policies

  • Support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO, customer audits) with proper documentation

  • Assist in reviewing and improving HR policies and procedures

HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Support HR initiatives such as digitalisation, training programmes, and employee wellbeing activities

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes for operational efficiency and compliance

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline

  • 1-3 years of relevant HR experience (experience in manufacturing environment is advantageous)
