Our client is a well-established Singapore retail brand with a strong presence across the local market. With decades of history and a people-centric culture, the company is seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to support business operations and workforce effectiveness across retail and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee a small HR team covering Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Acquisition (TA), and Employee Relations (ER)

- Partner closely with the Head of HR and business leaders to support day-to-day HR operations and people matters

- Drive operational HR excellence across recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and policy implementation

- Support workforce planning and manpower operations in a fast-paced retail environment

- Handle sensitive employee matters with maturity, professionalism, and sound judgment

- Work closely with store operations and corporate stakeholders to ensure smooth HR support across the business

- Support continuous improvement of HR processes, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness

Requirements

- Proven HR generalist / HR operations experience, ideally within retail, consumer, hospitality, or service-driven environments

- Experience managing or mentoring small HR teams

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate different working styles and business dynamics

- Politically savvy, adaptable, resilient, and hands-on in execution

- Comfortable operating in a lean environment with both strategic and operational responsibilities

- Strong understanding of Singapore employment practices and HR operations
