PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
At Nasty Cookies we are looking for a dynamic and people-oriented HR Manager to support our growing team. Nasty Cookie is a Singapore-based cookie brand known for its oversized, New York-style gourmet cookies and desserts
This role will oversee end-to-end HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll coordination, and HR process improvement. You will play a key role in shaping a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding
- Prepare employment contracts and maintain accurate employee records
- Assist in workforce planning to support business growth
Employee Relations & Culture Building
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with company values
- Address employee concerns proactively, resolve conflicts, and improve overall engagement
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention
Payroll, Leave & Compliance
- Manage payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, leave, and incentives in collaboration with Finance
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal HR policies
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reviews
Training & Development
- Identify skills gaps and coordinate training programs (e.g., service excellence, leadership development)
- Support employee growth and career development initiatives
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
- Act as a trusted HR point of contact for employees and managers
- Handle performance management and disciplinary matters professionally
- Support managers with people-related decisions and best practices
HR Processes & Continuous Improvement
- Review and enhance HR workflows, SOPs, and documentation
- Support the rollout of HR initiatives, policies, and internal communications
- Prepare HR reports and insights for management
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
EXPERIENCE
- At least 10 years of HR generalist experience (preferred)
SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
