Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced in construction sector and motivated HR Manager to lead and manage all aspects of human resources. The successful candidate will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to support business growth and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
. Oversee employee performance management and career development programs.
. Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
. Ensure compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
. Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
. Administer compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, CPF & IR21 and leave management.
. Administration of NS, maternity, childcare, paternity and insurance claims, etc.
. Identify training needs and coordinate employee learning and development initiatives.
. Manage employee and company insurance coverage, claims and renewal.
. Maintain accurate employee records and HR reports.
. Support organizational development, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
. Advise management on HR best practices and workforce planning.
. Performs other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
. Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Infotech.
. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
. Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP,SHRM-SCP, PHR, CIPD, or equivalent) is an advantage.
