Purpose of Position
Provides operational support on full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment and selection, on-boarding, compensation & benefits, payroll, performance management, learning & development, off-boarding and etc. and works closely with the Country Head of HR in supporting designated business units.
Key Tasks
HR Business Partnering
- Act as a business partner to the assigned functions
- Ensure that all relevant HR policies, procedures and guidelines are implemented and followed and meet all legislative requirements
- Provide monthly monitor and update of HR key figures (headcount/personnel cost/overtime) to management and external parties)
- Drive and secure high quality and full adherence to the compensation & benefits process, including pension and insurance schemes in accordance with external labor market competitiveness as well as internal consistency
- Manage human resources development programs including skills training, internship program and industrial attachment programs to enhance learning in the organization and develop potential candidates for the organization.
- Support and secure training and development plans, succession planning, talent management and staff retention for all levels of employees
- Facilitate discussion at the quarterly talent review and succession planning sessions and ensure execution of all approved development plans
- Keep abreast with market trends/changes including governmental rulings and make employee/management communication where appropriate
- Responsible for the recruitment of your assigned department
- Perform data analysis and recommend solutions to management
- Develop employees communication kit to promote foster closer relationship understanding and commitment improve employee engagement by facilitating and participating in the company run official / social activities
Compensation & Benefits
- Drive and secure high quality and full adherence to the compensation & benefits process, including pension and insurance schemes in accordance with external labor market competitiveness as well as internal consistency
- Participate in the yearly Mercer survey
- Recommend solutions to align irregularities in practices
Payroll Administration
- Train, monitor and evaluate the work performance and delivery of the payroll support staff
- Responsible for the accurate and timely execution of the payroll administration / tax submission and payment to the IRAS where applicable
- Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and company policies and regulations
- Review monthly reconciliation (able to justify the differences in last month versus current month payroll)
- Perform other duties / projects as assigned
Experience & Education
- Diploma or Degree in Business & Human Resource Management or its equivalent
- Experience in HRM and familiar with Singapore Employment Act
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong in MS Excel
- Systematic and able to manage database system efficiently
- A team player and ability to work independently
- Positive individual with excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Educational qualifications can be compensated by working experience
