Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven HR Manager to oversee end-to-end HR operations for their Singapore office and provide regional HR support for the Japan satellite office. This critical role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational rigor, who can balance administrative excellence, employee engagement, and compliance with local labor regulations. The ideal candidate will uphold the company's values, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectiveswhile ensuring seamless coordination with the Asia HR team and global headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for the Singapore office, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and exits.
- Ensure accurate and compliant employee documentation in line with Singapore employment regulations.
- Coordinate payroll, benefits, and leave administration with external service providers.
- Support annual performance review, bonus, and salary review exercises in line with company guidelines and budgets.
- Monitor HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, and training, and prepare reports for management.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment and talent retention initiatives.
- Act as the main HR point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance on HR policies and workplace issues.
- Support engagement initiatives and employee surveys to enhance workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal HR policies.
- Support basic office administration and vendor coordination where required.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of HR experience covering full-spectrum HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices.
- Experience working with payroll vendors, insurers, and HR systems.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities, and handle confidential matters professionally.
- Experience supporting small to mid-sized teams will be an advantage.
