The HR Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day human resource functions, supporting employee engagement, recruitment, performance management, HR operations and company culture initiatives. This role requires a hands-on individual who is approachable, organized, emotionally mature, and able to work closely with employees and management across different departments.
The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and the capability to handle sensitive matters professionally and confidentially.
Key Responsibilities
. Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, onboarding and offboarding
. Support employee relations and provide HR guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and workplace matters
. Handle HR administration including employment contracts, confirmation letters, leave management, attendance records and employee documentation
. Coordinate and support performance appraisal exercises and employee development initiatives
. Work closely with management to support employee engagement, retention and workplace culture initiatives
. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Singapore employment regulations and MOM guidelines
. Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration and insurance matters with external vendors where required
. Support disciplinary processes and conflict resolution professionally and fairly
. Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information
. Assist in organizing company activities, wellness initiatives and internal communications
. Support continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
Requirements
. Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field
. Approximately 4-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in SME, technology or service-oriented environments
. Good understanding of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices
. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
. Mature, empathetic and able to handle confidential matters with professionalism
. Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
. Positive attitude with strong teamwork and coordination skills
. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems
