The Asia Pacific (APAC) Employee Relations team collaborates with HR Business Partners (HRBP) in Singapore to offer extensive support and advice on a wide array of employee issues. We are involved in coordinating site HR activities, assessing and mitigating legal and regulatory risks, and collaborating with departments like HRBP, Operations, Legal & Compliance to devise effective resolutions.
About The Role - You Will
As an Employee Relations Intern, actively participate in and support employee relations by conducting formal investigations into disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with Singapore's legal and labor regulations.
- Manage Employee Relations, Coaching and Counsel: Collaborate with departments like Security, Legal, and Compliance to address Ethics-related issues and recommend disciplinary actions. Offer guidance on work-related grievances such as harassment, discrimination, and other policy violations.
- Employee Communication: Draft and deliver HR-related communications and presentations on essential topics including holidays, benefits, and ER policies.
- Employee Engagement: Facilitate quarterly employees dialogue sessions and participate in the review of issues raised, assessments, and recommendations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with other HR functional organization such as Talent Management, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition on company-wide HR projects. Provide support to the Human Resources function in the areas of employee relations, training, and other HR projects.
- Compliance: Assist in preparing for external audits and compliance reviews for the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).
- Research and Delivery of presentation: Conduct research on legislative changes and analyze HR data to support decision-making. Assist in the design and delivery of presentations to managers, employees, and HR partners on relevant ER topics as and when needed
- Documentation and Records Maintenance: Manage documentation of HR activities, including employee status changes, performance evaluations, and terminations.
- Exit Processes and Employee Training: Conduct exit interviews, track headcount, and support various HR functions including employee training and development.

Your Experience Includes
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of Employment Laws: Well-versed in Singapore employment regulations and labor market conditions.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, as well as PowerPoint and Word.
