You will be exposed to a wide spectrum of HR data projects - from vendor management analysis to enhancing manpower budgeting processes.

You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals and gain first-hand experience in how data can be used to inform workforce planning, cost optimisation, and strategic decision-making in one of Singapore's largest healthcare clusters.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Analytics & Process Improvement (70%)
  • Analyse recruitment agency spending patterns across NHG institutions to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Track and visualise recruitment costs, agency fees, placement success rates, and channel effectiveness
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis across job groups and hiring sources
  • Refine and develop a linked Excel-based budget and manpower tracker, enabling real-time visibility and comparison across budgeted headcount, current estab and vacancy numbers.
  • Design dynamic dashboards or templates to improve reporting efficiency
  • Propose improvements to streamline current manual reporting into automated or linked solutions
  1. Administrative & Stakeholder Support (30%)
  • Maintain and update agency engagement and contract databases
  • Monitor rate cards, contract timelines, and agency performance
  • Collect and validate HR and recruitment-related cost data from institutions
  • Liaise with stakeholders across institutions for data collection and reporting alignment

What You'll Gain

  • Exposure to healthcare HR operations in a large public sector organisation
  • Experience working directly on workforce planning, budgeting, and cost analytics
  • Hands-on involvement in projects that contribute to policy improvements and operational efficiency
  • Mentorship from experienced HR leaders and opportunities to present insights to senior stakeholders
  • Enhanced skills in Excel modelling, stakeholder communication, and HR data visualisation

Requisite

  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formula linking, basic dashboards)
  • Ability to see the big picture in data and connect it to operational needs
  • Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality
