We are looking for a curious and motivated HR Intern to join the Group HR team at NHG Health. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply data analytics skills in a real-world HR setting. You will be exposed to a wide spectrum of HR data projects - from vendor management analysis to enhancing manpower budgeting processes.
You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals and gain first-hand experience in how data can be used to inform workforce planning, cost optimisation, and strategic decision-making in one of Singapore's largest healthcare clusters.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analytics & Process Improvement (70%)
- Analyse recruitment agency spending patterns across NHG institutions to identify optimisation opportunities
- Track and visualise recruitment costs, agency fees, placement success rates, and channel effectiveness
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis across job groups and hiring sources
- Refine and develop a linked Excel-based budget and manpower tracker, enabling real-time visibility and comparison across budgeted headcount, current estab and vacancy numbers.
- Design dynamic dashboards or templates to improve reporting efficiency
- Propose improvements to streamline current manual reporting into automated or linked solutions
- Administrative & Stakeholder Support (30%)
- Maintain and update agency engagement and contract databases
- Monitor rate cards, contract timelines, and agency performance
- Collect and validate HR and recruitment-related cost data from institutions
- Liaise with stakeholders across institutions for data collection and reporting alignment

Requisite
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formula linking, basic dashboards)
- Ability to see the big picture in data and connect it to operational needs
- Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
