Job Description

The Global Mobility Team is responsible for the global coordination and operational implementation of international assignments and extended business trips within the Reinsurance & Specialty Group as well as for setting relevant guidelines.

The Global Mobility Partner acts as the expert advisor to managers, employees and HR colleagues concerning all forms of cross-border employment and ensures that these are implemented in a legally compliant manner.

Your Role:

  • Managing international assignments and extended business trips (EBT) within the Reinsurance & Specialty Group, while complying with all legal requirements at home and abroad. This includes, for example, determining the assignment/EBT remuneration, preparing contracts, instructing payroll, creating fringe-benefit statements and allocating costs between the units involved
  • Providing HR advice and support for employees with regard to their assignment/EBT abroad
  • Advising andsupporting managers and HR colleagues regarding other forms of cross-borderactivity, for example commuter or global roles, with a strong focus oninternational payroll, immigration, tax and social security matters
  • Engaging withinternal stakeholders, e.g. local HR, accounting of tax departments, and withexternal service providers such as tax consultancies, relocation agencies andimmigration services providers
  • Improving Global Mobility related processes as required and driving the development of policies and guidelines for all forms of cross-border working
  • Project work on Global Mobility issues

Your Profile:

  • University degree with a business or legal orientation, ideally focusing on international taxes, labour law or human resources
  • Several years of experience of working in international HR, within a dedicated in Global Mobility Management role
  • Experience of working on Mobility cases across several APAC markets particularly Singapore, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia.
  • Strong knowledge in international tax and social security law required, knowledge of international labour law or immigration law is an advantage
  • A real team player, demonstrating strong service orientation and a proactive approach
  • Quick and out-of-the box thinking, good with numbers, independent and thorough way of working, resilience
  • A skilled communicator and experienced in dealing with all hierarchical levels in an international environment
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications, especially Excel, experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
