The L&D Generalist is responsible for driving key people initiatives across onboarding, talent development, learning & development (L&D), and employee experience. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the employee journey by building structured career frameworks, enhancing onboarding effectiveness, and delivering impactful development programs.
Learning & Development (L&D)
- Design and execute L&D strategies aligned with business and workforce needs.
- Conduct training needs analysis and implement targeted development programs.
- Manage external training providers and learning platforms (e.g., LMS).
- Track, measure, and evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
Career Pathing & Talent Development
- Develop and implement career progression frameworks and competency models across functions.
- Collaborate with business leaders to define clear growth pathways and capability requirements.
- Drive internal mobility and succession planning initiatives to strengthen talent pipelines.
- Coach and support managers in conducting effective career development and growth conversations.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and deliver HR projects (e.g., career frameworks, engagement initiatives, HR process enhancements) end-to-end.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve employee experience and HR operational efficiency.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to support organizational initiatives.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports (e.g., onboarding success, training metrics, retention trends).
- Analyze HR data to generate actionable insights and support business decisions.
- Present findings, trends, and recommendations to HR leadership and key stakeholders.
Performance & Engagement Support
- Support performance management processes with a focus on development, feedback, and growth.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and organizational culture.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Lead, design, and continuously enhance structured onboarding programs to ensure strong employee integration and early productivity.
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver a consistent and high-quality onboarding experience.
- Monitor onboarding effectiveness using feedback and data; implement improvements to enhance engagement and retention.
HR Operations & Advisory
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and company policies.
- Other duties and assignments as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, IHRP) is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years HR experience with exposure to onboarding, L&D, and talent development
- Experience building career frameworks, competency models, or L&D programs from scratch.
- Proven experience in managing HR projects and implementing initiatives end-to-end.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in HR reporting and data interpretation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a dynamic environment.
