Role Overview
As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our high-frequency trading operations and optimizing our human capital strategy. This is not a purely administrative role you will be a strategic partner to our trading and technology leads. Your mission is two-fold: identifying and securing top-tier quantitative and technical talent, and re-engineering our HR processes to ensure they are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with our aggressive business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Strategic Sourcing
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Traders, Quants, and Software Engineers.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the KL and regional fintech talent market, providing insights on compensation benchmarks and competitor movement.
- Employer Branding: Enhance our presence in the local ecosystem through university partnerships and tech community engagement.
2. HR Business Partnering (HRBP)
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with department heads to translate business objectives into tactical HR initiatives.
- Process Optimization: Audit existing HR workflows (onboarding, performance reviews, offboarding) and implement improvements to increase efficiency and employee experience.
- Systems Management: Oversee and optimize HRIS and ATS platforms to ensure data integrity and useful reporting for the leadership team.
3. Organizational Development & Culture
- Performance Management: Facilitate a high-performance culture through structured feedback loops and alignment with the fund's P&L goals.
- Employee Engagement: Develop initiatives that foster retention and collaboration in a high-stakes trading environment.
Requirements
- Experience: 4-7 years of HR experience, preferably within Fintech, Banking, or a high-growth Technology firm.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Savvy: Strong experience with HRIS/ATS systems and a systems-thinking approach to problem-solving.
- Communication: Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Added advantage for Mandarin/Chinese proficiency (written and verbal).
- Mindset: You thrive in fast-paced environments, possess a high degree of discretion, and are comfortable with ambiguity.
