Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing comprehensive support in both human resources and finance functions, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and effective management of financial and employee-related matters.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee queries and grievances, providing guidance and support. Assist with performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- HR Administration: Process leave applications and manage attendance records. Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations in Singapore. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Finance:
- Accounting & Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Process invoices and payments accurately and timely. Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the preparation and monitoring of budgets. Support financial forecasting and analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Assist with tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
- Other Duties: Support other ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Managing Director.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma/bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in HR and/or finance roles is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures. Proficiency in accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with relevant Singapore employment laws and regulations. Experience with HR and accounting software is a plus.
