Job Summary
Assist the Senior Manager in executing HR policies and programs that align with company goals and compliance. Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, compensation, and HR reporting to drive effective human resource management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company objectives and compliance requirements in collaboration with Senior Manager
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks to support talent acquisition
- Facilitate onboarding processes by organizing orientation, training sessions, and ensuring completion of required documentation for new hires
- Manage employee relations by resolving conflicts, overseeing performance management, and administering disciplinary actions in accordance with policies and legal standards
- Implement employee engagement initiatives such as surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities to enhance workplace morale
- Coordinate training and development by identifying needs, scheduling sessions, and evaluating training effectiveness to support employee growth
- Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs including salary reviews, benefits enrollment, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases ensuring data integrity
- Compile HR metrics and prepare reports for management to support data-driven decision-making
- Monitor HR trends, best practices, and legal developments to recommend improvements in HR processes and ensure compliance
- Perform other ad-hoc HR duties as assigned by management
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, managers, and external stakeholders
- Leadership and team management skills to mentor and develop HR staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and make informed HR decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
