Job Description

Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • To ensures all activities related to HR functions comply with legal requirements and relevant labour laws and employment acts
  • Assists HR Manager on company's HR policies, rules and regulations ensuring compliance with local and national regulations
  • Assists HR Manager to prepare and generate miscellaneous and monthly HR management reports
  • Responsible for the application of foreign work passes and arranging for the renewal and training of workers prior to certificate expiry dates.
  • Assists in monitoring and maintaining the list of supply labour resources
  • Consolidates the competencies of staffs and identifies the training needs
  • Circulates memorandum via E-mail whenever there is new announcement by Management or Government
  • Processes insurance and employee benefit claims
  • Handles HR administration works
  • Administers and coordinates various HR initiatives
  • Integrate employee relations into the HR program by proactively addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment that supports engagement and productivity.
  • Design and implement HR programs that drive employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion while facilitating performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Propose and collaborate on Learning & Development plans to improve training initiatives and career progression programs.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., IHRP-CP) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Preferred 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in an HRBP or generalist role.
  • Hands-on experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR compliance.
  • Proven track record in managing and driving HR functions and initiatives.
  • Experience in developing and managing Learning & Development programs.
  • Familiarity with foreign work passes and managing employee benefit claims.
  • Background in preparing and generating HR management reports.
  • Proven success in collaborating with management to improve HR policies.
  • Change management expertise with the ability to drive organizational transformation.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing employee relations.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR reporting.
  • Expertise in project management, change management, and organizational transformation.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for data-driven decisions.
  • Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and implementing training programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
