Shanghai Geoharbour Construction Group Co., Ltd. (Singapore Branch), the regional hub of Geoharbour Construction Group, is an advanced and innovative geotechnical contractor and a global leader in ground improvement and soft soil treatment.
We are seeking an experienced HR Executive / HR Generalist with solid experience in the Construction industry to oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, ensure compliance with Singapore labor laws, and support the needs of our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, with emphasis on recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee records in both local and Group HRIS.
- Handle applications, renewals, and cancellations of work passes.
- Monitor employee attendance, ensure data accuracy, and process monthly payroll for the worker category.
- Develop the annual training budget and plan with guidance from the line manager organize and coordinate training programs, and maintain training records and certifications.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries promote open communication, resolve conflicts, address grievances, and enforce company policies to foster a positive and compliant workplace.
- Administer and maintain employee compensation and benefits programs, including leave, medical benefits, insurance, accommodation, airfare, and incentives.
- Prepare and submit government-mandated HR surveys and reports in a timely manner.
- Review and enhance HR SOPs and policies to align with industry best practices.
- Support coordination and communication between headquarters and subsidiaries.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a HR generalist role, including at least 2 years in the Construction industry.
- Proven experience in work pass management and labor payroll processing is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Infotech HRIS with hands-on experience in system operations and data management is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders at headquarters.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, proactive, responsible, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
