Job Summary
You will manage comprehensive HR functions, including compensation benchmarking, recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, and employee development to support organizational growth and workforce effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Review and benchmark compensation and benefits structures through market analysis to ensure competitive and fair packages
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies aligned with industry best practices to support organisational compliance and culture
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for management and non-management roles to attract and secure qualified talent
- Conduct onboarding briefings to facilitate smooth integration and engagement of new employees
- Implement training and development programmes to identify skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities
- Oversee payroll administration ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely salary disbursement to maintain employee satisfaction
- Prepare and analyse HR reports, including manpower and workforce metrics, to inform management decisions
- Administer employee benefits such as insurance and medical claims to support employee well-being
- Monitor employee turnover trends and conduct exit interviews to develop retention strategies
- Support and coordinate performance management processes to drive employee performance and development
- Manage HR-related issues for Malaysia and China operations, including payroll coordination
Required competencies and certifications
- Good understanding of local & Malaysia / China employment laws and HR best practices
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Experience in compensation & benefits, recruitment, payroll, and HR operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications experience with HRIS systems such as Prosoft or Unit4
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively at all organizational levels
- Detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment
- Proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills and a positive work attitude
