About the Role
Visionary Interior Design is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive (6-Month Contract) to support our Human Resources function during a maternity cover period.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced SME environment and has hands-on experience in payroll, recruitment, HR administration, and government-related HR matters. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources Operations
- Manage end-to-end HR administration, including employee records, employment contracts, confirmation letters, renewals, transfers, and resignations.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation, system access, exit interviews, and clearance procedures.
- Maintain accurate employee data and ensure proper filing of HR documents.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act requirements, MOM regulations, and company policies.
2. Payroll & Statutory Matters
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
- Handle CPF submissions, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and coordinate statutory submissions, including IR8A, IR21, and annual tax-related matters.
- Liaise with payroll vendors, accountants, auditors, and government agencies when required.
- Support leave administration, attendance verification, and payroll-related reporting.
3. Government Grants & Claims
- Assist in the application, submission, and tracking of government grants and funding schemes.
- Monitor grant compliance requirements, milestones, supporting documents, and reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely grant submissions and claims.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audit purposes.
4. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support
- Support recruitment activities, including job advertisements, resume screening, interview scheduling, and offer preparation.
- Coordinate candidate communications and provide a positive hiring experience.
- Work closely with hiring managers on recruitment requirements and interview arrangements.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports.
5. Training & Development
- Coordinate SkillsFuture courses, internal training programmes, and employee development initiatives.
- Maintain training records, attendance reports, and post-training documentation.
- Support workforce development and upskilling initiatives.
6. Employee Engagement & Company Events
- Assist in organising company events, team bonding activities, staff celebrations, and employee engagement programmes.
- Support internal communications related to HR initiatives and company activities.
- Contribute to creating a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably within an SME environment.
- Hands-on experience in Singapore payroll processing, CPF submissions, IR8A, and MOM regulations.
- Familiarity with government grants, funding schemes, or workforce initiatives is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
