HR Director | Leads a Team
The Frazer Jones team is pleased to be exclusively representing our client in their search for a HR Director with clearly defined goals: to upgrade the leadership bench strength, elevate and uplift the HR function as well as to concurrently build towards a high-performance culture, and importantly, to support in the upcoming growth initiatives (new market entry, and M&A). This is a very critical and newly crafted position that genuinely has the potential to drive impact and value creation by setting up/refining HR processes and systems to be more robust, and more scalable. HR leaders with a strong track record and proven experience building functions from the ground up will find this a highly impactful and meaningful challenge.
Key Responsibilities
Leading a team of direct reports, you will be responsible for setting the HR agenda whilst ensuring that HR operations run smoothly during this period of growth. There is increasing organisational complexity and complex workforce challenges (for instance: skills shortage; attrition; succession planning). A key focus will be to first design and implement a scalable organisational structure. The successful candidate will be responsible for building/refining foundational HR frameworks, including workforce planning, performance management, and compensation structures aligned to business goals.
Alongside the strategic remit, you will lead a team of direct reports to oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, ensuring effective delivery of day-to-day HR activities. This includes managing employee relations matters, providing guidance on disciplinary and workplace issues, and ensuring compliance with local labour regulations. The HR team is responsible for core HR processes such as payroll, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and service quality.
This is ultimately a hands-on role requiring both strategic capability and operational execution, with the opportunity to build and scale the HR function from its current baseline.
Ideal Profile
Candidates must have at least 12 to 15 years of HR experience, and minimally 3 to 5 years in senior HR leadership experience within B2B industries that have sizeable blue-collar workforces. You are confident and comfortable operating in PE-backed environments and/or founder-led settings and have a proven track record in building organisational capability through periods of growth or transformation. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive change in evolving environments.

Remuneration: Base Salary: SGD 160k/annum (this is excluding bonuses/ESOPs).
