About the Strategy & Transformation Department
The Strategy and Transformation team drives organizational agility and cultivates a highperformance culture across LITEON. Our mission focuses on three key pillars:

- Employer Branding: Crafting a compelling Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract top-tier talent in highly competitive markets.

Objective
As LITEON Singapore expands its R&D footprint, we are seeking a forward-thinking HR Intern to lead a strategic project aimed at transforming our cross-border recruitment operations.
This role will diagnose the current hiring journey between Taiwan HQ and Singapore, and implement digital tools, automation, and process enhancements to improve efficiency for our major Business Units (BUs).
This project is ideal for a Singaporean student seeking strategic HQ exposure in Taiwan and progression into a full-time role in Singapore post-graduation.
Key Responsibilities
A. Process Optimization (Efficiency Theme)
- Hiring Funnel Audit: Analyze the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle-from job posting to onboarding-to identify bottlenecks and lead-time delays.
- Lean Workflow Design: Develop a streamlined SG recruitment SOP that aligns Taiwan HQ's technical requirements with Singapore's fast-paced labor market.
- Candidate Experience Enhancement: Build and implement a Candidate Feedback Loop to improve employer Net Promoter Score (eNPS) in the SG tech talent market.
B. Technology & Tool Integration (Digital Theme)
- RecruitTech Benchmarking: Evaluate AI-driven screening solutions, automated scheduling tools, and CRM enhancements relevant to Singapore (e.g., LinkedIn automation, MyCareersFuture integration).
- Data-Driven Dashboarding: Create a real-time recruitment health dashboard for BU leaders and the CHRO.
C. Talent Branding & Acquisition (Execution Theme)
- Localization of Employer Branding: Refresh R&D Job Descriptions to ensure resonance with Singapore-based engineering talent.
- Campus Pipeline Building: Establish strategic engagement with NUS, NTU, and SMU career centers to develop a sustainable early talent pipeline.
Project Milestones
- Phase 1: Diagnostic & Market Insight (Weeks 1-2)
- Conduct a cross-border recruitment gap analysis (Taiwan HQ vs Singapore).
Research SG R&D talent behaviors and high-impact sourcing channels (e.g., NUS/NTU portals, Telegram tech communities). - Phase 2: Framework Design & Optimization (Weeks 3-5)
Standardize localized Job Descriptions and branding materials for SG.
Design a Strategic Sourcing Mechanism connected to Singapore's top universities. - Phase 3: Pilot Implementation & Final Handover (Weeks 6-8)
Test the new workflow on pilot R&D roles and evaluate efficiency improvements.
Develop and finalize the Singapore Recruitment Playbook for team-wide rollout.
Deliverables
- Singapore Recruitment Efficiency Report: A comprehensive, data-backed diagnostic with actionable recommendations.
- Singapore HR Toolkit: Digital templates, automation scripts, and optimized JD libraries.
- Pilot Implementation Success: Execution of 2-3 R&D roles using the newly designed workflow.
Success Metrics Process
- Lead-Time Reduction: Achieve a 20% faster Screening to Interview cycle through workflow automation.
- Sourcing Channel Viability: Build a verified engagement framework across 3+ local university channels. Candidate Conversion Rate: Improve Apply-to-Interview ratios using localized JDs and strengthened branding.
- Standardization Index: Deliver one comprehensive playbook with templates and SOPs, ensuring 100% replicability for future HR team members.

Preferred Qualifications
- Academic Background - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in: Human Resources, Business, Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Learning & Development, or related disciplines. (Master's students preferred)
Desired Skills
- Basic understanding of HR functions such as recruitment and training-or strong interest to learn.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or chatbot technologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau other data visualization tools preferred.
