This position plays a vital role in shaping the company's success by implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR and administration operations, including employee lifecycle management, including recruitment, payroll coordination, benefits administration and HR reporting.
- Responsible for planning and executing HR projects such as employee training programs, performance evaluation processes, and recruitment drives efficiently to meet organizational objectives.
- Involves addressing complex HR issues, resolving conflicts, and making strategic decisions that impact employee morale and organizational productivity.
- Collaborates with various departments to ensure HR strategies are aligned with overall business goals, fostering a cohesive work environment.
- Leading HR teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the HR department.
- Implementing innovative HR practices, streamlining processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handling employee relations, addressing grievances and ensuring effective communication between management and staff.
- Ensure adherence to Singapore employment legislation and statutory requirements, maintaining up-to-date HR practices and compliance standards
- Partner closely with business leaders to support the Singapore office's talent needs, including recruitment coordination, succession planning, and workforce planning
- Act as the primary HR contact for the Singapore office, managing employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary cases
- Implement and localize regional HR policies, frameworks, and change initiatives, while supporting the execution of group-level projects in Singapore
Requirements:
- Proficiency in HR software systems (SAP software) and proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience and at least 5 years in a managerial role experience in talent management, employee relations, and HR strategy development.
- Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, conflict resolution, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- In depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, best HR practices, and industry trends impacting HR function.
- Experience in managing HR operations in multinational corporations.
- Demonstrated success in scaling HR operations in fast-growing companies.
- Displays excellent communication, writing skills and good interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (liaise with Mandarin speaking associates for work purposes).
