Job Description

(Work Location: Tokyo. Japan)

Responsibilities

Manage daily global payroll operations, including salary calculation, social security and housing fund declarations and payments; ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll delivery; respond to employee inquiries related to compensation.

Regularly collect and analyze information on overseas compensation levels, social security, taxation, and employment policies to support HR and management decision-making.

Organize and implement periodic performance appraisal processes; coordinate with relevant departments to collect evaluation data, complete performance scoring, consolidate and analyze results, prepare reports, and coach business teams on performance communication and feedback to drive the implementation of a performance management culture.

Manage performance goals and KPIs; regularly track and analyze performance targets and indicators to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Manage daily employee job changes and role movements; regularly review and optimize job descriptions.

Support management in the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of organizational structure, compensation, and performance management systems.

Assist management in building the talent pipeline and talent development framework (limited to the first six months).

Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Management or related disciplines; experience in the internet industry is preferred.

At least 2 years of experience as a Compensation & Performance professional; candidates with a comprehensive HR background and strong expertise in C&B are preferred.

Solid professional foundation; proficient in commonly used functions (e.g. Excel).

Familiar with employment policies in major overseas countries; candidates with long-term overseas working experience are preferred.

Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; detail-oriented, rigorous, and with a high level of confidentiality awareness.

Proficient in both Chinese and English as working languages; proficiency in Japanese is a strong plus.
