Job Description
The HRBP provides advice and support to the leaders and middle managers on HR policies and guides them to navigate complexities or obstacles.
The HRBP works with hiring managers and line managers to understand and prioritise critical skills and talent that are necessary for the future. He/She maps the manpower and talent pool to meet immediate and future needs. The HRBP works with recruiters to review job specifications and market availability; monitors recruiter's performance and delivery.
This role drives the employee mobility and manpower plans for the organisation and plays a pivotal role in building manpower resource across Montfort Care. The HRBP acts as a bridge amongst line managers, HR and leadership team.
Job Responsibilities
Manpower Planning
- Support line managers with manpower planning, resource mapping and employee mobility plans
- Develop the details to each job and validate against market insights
- Develop employee development plans with line managers and leadership team for potential talent and successors
- Analyse manpower cost, propose investment plans (where required) or propose optimisation plans
- Manages recruitment with outsourced recruiter
Manpower Programs
- Co-develop programs with line managers where recruitment is a key challenge (eg; career conversion programs, internship, overseas hiring)
- Create short term measures/programs to overcome policies constraints vs critical needs
Employee Mobility
- Accountable for the Employee Mobility Target (5% to 8% of work force)
- Own the oversight on employees on Employee Mobility Program (EMP)
- Manage budget for EMP, source for project grants and ensure grants submissions are successful and meet audit requirements
Employee Engagement
- Hold meetings with employees and managers to understand needs and obstacles
Process Improvement
- Work with HR to improve HR processes for the line managers and employees
Analysis and Measurement of Impact
- Analyse and present survey and data results to leadership team.
- Monitor and measure the impact and outcome of programmes.
Qualification & Skills
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master Degree in a related discipline
Relevant Experience
- At least 8-10 years of working experience in HR Operations / HRBP
- Experience in consulting firms, social service sector or retail / hospitality is an advantage

- Able to connect the dots between HR and front-line operations.
- Enjoys interactions with leaders and front-line employees
