Are you a sharp, adaptable and proactive HR professional passionate about making an impact in a fast-moving, dynamic organization If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team as a HR Business Partner.

As a HRBP at Millennium your main responsibility is to partner with our leaders to understand their strategic objectives then to develop and execute practical people strategies to help achieve them. You also work closely with managers and employees across the firm to ensure they have the right skills, are passionate about their work and are inspired to succeed. Day-to-day this means coaching and guiding managers and individual contributors on efforts like career development, performance management, talent acquisition and retention, training and development, and employee relations. So while we definitely look for people who can be trusted advisors to our leaders, we also look for people who are capable of developing relationships throughout the organization and who can roll up their sleeves to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and advise senior leaders on key people matters including team and individual development
  • Lead HR programs and processes across coverage areas, including performance management, talent reviews, and compensation advisory
  • Resource and execute dynamic people initiatives; assess and measure progress to ensure desired results are achieved
  • Assess employee engagement and work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention
  • Collaborate with managers to resolve employee relations issues involving poor performance and policy violations and handle termination processes
  • Facilitate amendments to employment terms and conditions
  • Partner with Learning & Development/Diversity & Inclusion to organize and/or conduct training and development programs
  • Partner with HR Reporting & Analytics to analyze HR data and proactively identify and address trends and issues

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience with a minimum of 8 years of experience as an HRBP or in a generalist role with employee-facing responsibilities, preferably within financial services
  • Ability to pivot between strategy and tactical execution and comfortably navigate ambiguous or gray areas
  • Commercial approach with an interest in the business, the environment and its people
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills, with poise and confidence to interact with and influence clients at all levels
  • Ability to adapt in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to problem solve creatively with a proficiency in data analytics
  • Demonstrate judgment and integrity in sensitive situations
