Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HR professional to support our warehouse and operations workforce. The incumbent will serve as a key HR partner to operational leaders and employees, ensuring compliance with Singapore employment regulations while delivering effective HR services across the employee lifecycle. The role will have a strong focus on Employee Relations (ER), Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) case management, workplace investigations, employee engagement, and operational HR support.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Case Management

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters across warehouse, logistics, and operational teams.
  • Conduct employee counselling sessions and provide guidance on workplace issues and disciplinary matters.
  • Investigate employee grievances, misconduct cases, absenteeism, performance concerns, and workplace disputes.
  • Support managers in handling disciplinary actions, warnings, performance improvement plans, and terminations in compliance with Singapore employment laws.
  • Manage employee feedback, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.

WICA & Workplace Injury Management

  • Manage end-to-end Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) cases.
  • Coordinate with employees, supervisors, clinics, hospitals, insurers, and government agencies on workplace injury matters.
  • Ensure timely submission of incident reports to MOM and relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor medical leave, light-duty arrangements, return-to-work plans, and rehabilitation progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for workplace accidents and injury claims.
  • Support workplace investigations and root cause analysis relating to workplace incidents.

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner with operational leaders on manpower planning, workforce management, employee retention, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide HR advisory support on employment legislation, HR policies, and employee matters.
  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend solutions to improve productivity and employee engagement.
  • Support change management and business transformation initiatives.

HR Operations & Employee Services

  • Manage the employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Ensure proper administration of employment contracts, HR documentation, and personnel records.
  • Support payroll inputs, leave administration, attendance management, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, Employment Act requirements, and company policies.
  • Assist in audits and maintain HR records and reporting.

Foreign Workforce Management

  • Support work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with MOM, employment agencies, and external stakeholders regarding foreign manpower matters.
  • Support onboarding and integration of foreign workers.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, food distribution, or operational environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing Employee Relations and WICA cases.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA), Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, and MOM regulations.
  • Experience handling workplace investigations, disciplinary matters, and employee grievances.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
