We are looking for an HRBP to support our Publishing department by partnering closely with leaders and employees across publishing-related functions. This role will play a key part in driving people strategies, strengthening team effectiveness, and delivering hands-on HR operational support across the employee lifecycle.

As the HR partner for Publishing, you will work closely with stakeholders to support business growth, build high-performing teams, and enhance employee experience in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-driven gaming environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing strategic business partnering with strong operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Business Partnering

  • Partner closely with leaders in the Publishing department to understand business priorities, team structures, and talent needs.
  • Support managers on performance management, employee development, and retention initiatives.
  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, feedback conversations, and people management best practices.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and help strengthen team culture within the Publishing organization.

HR Operations

  • Oversee and support day-to-day HR operations for the Publishing department across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and offboarding.
  • Ensure employee records, HR systems, and HR documentation for the Publishing organization are accurate and well maintained.
  • Support payroll, leave, benefits administration, and related HR processes for publishing employees in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Handle HR queries from publishing employees and managers in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are implemented consistently across the Publishing department.
  • Support continuous improvement of HR processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience within the Publishing organization.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, and audit requirements for Publishing-related HR matters.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in HR business partnering, HR generalist, or hybrid HRBP / HR operations roles.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and partner effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
  • Good knowledge of core HR practices, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, and HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, with attention to detail and a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving business needs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Prior experience supporting publishing, marketing, commercial, or go-to-market teams in gaming, tech, or internet companies is a plus.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is preferred, as this role will need to communicate closely with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
