Frazer Jones is delighted to be retained by a renowned global hedge fund to appoint a Regional HR Business Partner (APAC), based in Singapore. This is a brand new and highly strategic appointment.
Partnering closely with the APAC leadership team, this individual contributor role carries full accountability for the regional HR agenda. The successful candidate will oversee the entire people strategy and HR matters across a number of regional offices, supported by a regional HR Operations team based in another market.
The role will partner senior business leaders across functions and markets throughout Asia during a period of continued growth and investment. Working in close partnership with global HR counterparts, the incumbent will shape and execute people strategies that are fully aligned with the organisation's commercial priorities and long-term business objectives.
This is a highly visible and stakeholder-facing role, serving as the sole HR Business Partner and primary HR representative for the APAC region. As such, it requires a strong focus on relationship management, influencing, and trusted advisory support across all areas of HR.
Operating within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, the successful candidate must be equally comfortable setting people strategy and delivering hands-on people first solutions. Responsibilities will span the full spectrum of HR, including senior stakeholder advisory, talent and succession planning, employee relations, performance and reward, organisational design, leadership development, culture, and transformation initiatives.
A critical measure of success will be the ability to influence senior leaders, including Portfolio Managers and business heads, acting as a trusted advisor while driving consistent, best-in-class HR practices across APAC. Demonstrated experience leading regional and global people agendas through periods of organisational growth, change, and transformation within a front-office, revenue-generating environment will be essential, preferably within boutique feel environments.
The ideal candidate will be an established Regional HR Business Partner with a successful track record within a hedge fund, quantitative investment firm, alternative asset manager, or broader private markets environment. They will bring strong commercial acumen, sophisticated HR expertise, and the executive presence required to operate credibly with CEOs, senior executives, and investment professionals while thriving in an individual contributor capacity.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a high-calibre, commercially minded HR Business Partner to join a highly regarded global investment organisation at an exciting stage of growth and investment, playing a pivotal role in shaping the firm's people agenda across Asia-Pacific.
