HR Assistant Manager

Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The HR Assistant Manager supports the Head of Management in overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resource functions. This role requires strong operational capability with the ability to independently manage HR processes while contributing to policy development and organizational improvements.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, compliance-focused, and confident in managing payroll, recruitment, and HR governance matters.

Key Responsibilities

1 Full-Spectrum HR Operations

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including manpower planning discussions with hiring managers

  • Oversee onboarding and probation confirmation process

  • Handle employee lifecycle management (confirmation, promotion, exit management)

2 Payroll & Compensation

  • Oversee and process monthly payroll accurately and on time

  • Ensure statutory compliance (CPF, IRAS submissions, leave management)

  • Administer employee benefits, insurance and claims

  • Support compensation benchmarking and increment exercises

3 HR Policies & Compliance

  • Review, implement and update HR policies and SOPs

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore Employment Act and labour regulations

  • Maintain ISO and BizSafe documentation

  • Standardize HR forms and improve internal HR processes

4 Performance & Training

  • Support performance management cycle

  • Identify training needs and coordinate development programs

  • Monitor effectiveness of training initiatives

5 HR Advisory & Leadership Support

  • Act as HR point of contact for employees and management

  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters

  • Support management reporting on HR metrics

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or related discipline

  • 6-8 years of relevant HR experience

  • Experience managing full-spectrum HR independently

  • Strong payroll management experience

  • Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act

  • Experience in ISO / BizSafe compliance preferred

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Independent, proactive and detail-oriented
