Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR business partnering support to the Singapore business, with regular engagement at retail stores to understand operational needs and support employee experience. Partner closely with retail leadership and frontline teams, offering guidance on people matters and supporting a positive and engaged workforce.
  • Support recruitment activities for retail and selected corporate roles, including market benchmarking and compensation input. Work with hiring managers to ensure effective hiring outcomes aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with regional HR and Compensation & Benefits teams to support annual salary reviews, bonus exercises, and compensation benchmarking, ensuring accurate data preparation and analysis.
  • Partner with leadership to support organisational initiatives, workforce planning, and people-related change, contributing to a stable and high-performing environment during periods of transformation.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have approximately 6-10 years of HR experience, ideally gained within retail or consumer-facing environments. A strong HR generalist background is required, with hands-on exposure to business partnering, recruitment, and compensation processes.

The role requires a personable and engaging individual who is comfortable working closely with frontline retail teams and spending time on-site. Strong communication skills are essential, and the ability to converse in Mandarin is preferred to effectively engage with the retail population. A solid understanding of the Singapore employment landscape is also important.
