Position: HR Assistant (5 Months Contract - Maternity Cover)
Salary: $2500
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Chin Bee Road, Jurong
Job Scope:
The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting HR operations and manpower administration, including but not limited to:
- Liaising with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, preparing job advertisements, and coordinating with recruitment agencies for manpower requirements
- Managing foreign worker work pass matters, including applications, renewals, cancellations, security bond purchases, and repatriation arrangements
- Updating Ministry of Manpower records for changes in foreign worker particulars such as address or marital status
- Preparing employee-related documentation such as appointment letters, confirmations, transfers, and resignation acceptances
- Handling group health insurance and workmen compensation claims
- Maintaining monthly attendance and overtime records
- Coordinating the onboarding process including medical examinations, employment contracts, and orientation programs
- Conducting exit interviews and managing clearance procedures for departing employees
- Maintaining and updating employee records in Prosoft
- Assisting in the arrangement of external training courses and keeping training records up to date
- Supporting other HR functions and performing additional administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- Familiarity with MOM work pass processes
- 1-2 years relevant HR experience
