Role summaryWe are seeking for a
HR and Corporate Communications Assistant, APAC (1 year contract). Based in
Singapore, you will work closely with both the HR and corporate communications teams on on-going and new projects; supporting and collaborating with our regional and global colleagues.
You will manage some of the day-to-day management of HR operations, learn and be familiar with the various platforms the organization uses, and supporting the logistics in the Talent Development programs.
Based in Singapore, you will work closely with both the Human Resource (HR) and Corporate Communications (CC) teams on various projects; spearheading, supporting and collaborating with our regional and global colleagues.
You will manage some day-to-day management of HR operations, leverage on the various platforms the organization uses, and support in the end-to-end management of the Talent Development programs.
Key Responsibilities

Human Resource:
- Coordinate and support New Hire Orientation sessions for new joiners
- Collaborate and support on training and development programs, employee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, employee engagement activities/communications and corporate announcements to enable meaningful connection, communications, and support for deliverables
- Ideate and spearhead learning initiatives
- Manage and support contingent workers contract renewal. Work with hiring manager and agency on upcoming renewals.
- Provide logistics support for all training events and programs
- Draft and create talent development materials
- Video editing and image/poster creation
- Liaise with HR Leadership Team to gather information and reports
- Create annual calendars for observances and HR promotional activities
- Work with external vendors on coordinating programs and review contents
- Raise PO/PR for all HR and CC invoices
- Corporate Communications:
- Align Connect - weekly content creation and editorial for employee engagement, employee videos/filming
- Publish weekly Comms newsletters across APAC
- Support events like APAC Summit, APAC Kick Off from Corp Comms
- Support APAC Town Halls shout-outs winner nominations, sending out agenda, etc.
- Support the development of brand and communications materials; craft EVP messaging
- Coordinate production of creative, digital and video materials
- Support the implementation of internal and external communication activities
- Develop and maintain editorial calendars
What we're looking for
- Completed a tertiary education focused on communications, journalism, public relations, English, human resources or related discipline
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong copyediting and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with the latest communication trends and best practices
- Able to interact professionally with others in a corporate setting
- Very organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
- Team player with a can do attitude
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced and growing environment
- Preserves confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information
- Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required
Complementary skills
- Competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Canva
- Photo and video editing skills
