About the Role
Newland NPT is a leading Payment Terminal and Payment Solution provider globally. Originally from Fuzhou China, now we have offices in Singapore, Madrid, Atlanta and Sao Paulo.
Newland NPT is looking for a experienced HR and Administrative Manager for the expasion of Singapore office and APAC team. The role includes the HR operation, office operation and government affairs support. The position will report to the HR team of HQ in China.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Employee Relations Management
- Manage onboarding and offboarding administrative procedures for local and expatriate employees; maintain regional employee files;
- Support recruitment teams in local hiring process. Optimize local recruitment channels to ensure talent acquisition efficiency and quality.
- Based on NPT's corporate culture and values, drive effective implementation of corporate culture across the region. Listen to employee needs to facilitate cross-cultural integration, enhancing their sense of belonging and engagement.
2. Compensation & Benefits Support
- Assist HQ on daily compensation management for the employees in the region.
- Understand market compensation and benefits levels across countries in the region. Propose competitive and locally attractive C&B proposals based on effective cost control, and execute them locally upon HQ's approval.
3. Regional Administration Framework Support
- Align with HQ on administrative requirements and work policies. Independently manage the daily operations of the Singapore office.
- Oversee office environment maintenance, establish and update fixed asset records, conduct regular physical counts, and ensure book-inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with HQ to assist the operations of various business meetings, employee meetings, and other office events at the Singapore office.
- Coordinate reception arrangements for HQ and cross-regional visitors to Singapore. Assist with visa and Employment Pass (EP) applications.
4. Compliance & Third-Party Management
- Establish relationships with local government authorities and relevant third-party organizations to ensure compliance in business, commercial, HR, and administrative operations across the Asia Pacific region.
- Manage local vendor resources for HR, business travel, office operations, and accommodation. Coordinate with third-party service providers such as property management and network vendors.
5. Government Affairs Support
- Assist HQ in applying for, renewing, and maintaining various government licenses, qualifications, and registrations required for the Singapore entity's local operations; handle government matters such as company registration updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Management, Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years in HR related experience.
- Hands-on experience in HR and administrative operations in Singapore, with knowledge of local laws and process.
- Experienced in a multinational company, with a cross border HR cooperation experience.
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate between HQ and local employees.
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capability to independently drive HR initiatives.
- Fluent in English as a working language. Fluent Chinese skill is a plus
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and service-oriented skills.
