Job Description

  • Clean guest rooms, guest floors, and service areas according to hotel cleanliness standards to ensure a hygienic environment
  • Verify and update room status reports accurately to maintain real-time room availability information
  • Inspect and release rooms to Vacant/Clean status within allocated time, following hotel procedures to support efficient room turnover
  • Greet and acknowledge guests on the floor to make them feel valued and cared for
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Safeguard guests personal belongings by maintaining vigilance and security awareness at all times
  • Organize and restock floor pantries to ensure supplies are readily available and neatly arranged
  • Maintain and properly store work stores, trolleys, and equipment at the end of each shift to ensure operational readiness
  • Inspect equipment regularly and report any defects promptly to maintain functionality and safety
  • Use cleaning chemicals and supplies correctly by following prescribed dosages and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective cleaning
  • Conduct self-inspections using the hotel's quality checklist to verify that cleaning meets required standards
  • Support sustainability initiatives by conserving natural resources during daily tasks

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Minimum 34 years of experience in a similar hotel housekeeping role
  • Strong guest service mindset demonstrated by anticipating and responding warmly and professionally to guest needs
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage workload efficiently
  • Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences through attentive service
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, and personal presentation
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
