1. Role Purpose
He/She oversees ground operations and is responsible for rostering, manpower planning, daily supervision, and ensuring that KPIs are met.
Ground Supervision (Primary Role)
- Lead and supervise worker during the entire shift.
- Ensure workers are stationed correctly and carrying out duties per SOP.
- Conduct station checks, verify start-of-shift readiness, and monitor discipline.
- Provide ground coaching on patient movement, safety, all task handling, and communication.
Rostering & Manpower Planning
He/She is fully responsible for:
- Preparing monthly rosters
- Planning manpower for:
- Peak hours
- Shift transitions
- Break timings
- Annual leave coverage
- Sudden absenteeism
- Adjusting deployment on the spot when task volume surges
- Updating Executive on any manpower gaps.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor tasks for Dept.
- Ensure workers acknowledge and move to tasks quickly.
- Reassign workers when delays or surges occur.
- Flag system issues or abnormal task patterns.
D. KPI & Service Quality Management
He/She duties include:
- Coaching slow performers
- Monitoring high-volume periods
- Ensuring tasks are closed properly and on time
Compliance & Safety
- Enforce proper lifting, transfer technique, and equipment usage.
- Ensure staff follow grooming, conduct, and uniform standards.
- Report ALL incidents or near misses immediately.
