Job Description & Requirements
Job scope:
- Creative candidate who is capable of leading landscape projects from concept to construction
- Ability to create compelling planting narratives and develop inspiring & dynamic planting schemes.
- Ability to prepare softscape design packages from Conceptual stage to Softscape Working Drawing stage
- Demonstrate creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and problem solving.
- Preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation report, final account documentation and conduct tender interview
- Ability to carry out site implementation work is preferred
- Submit your project timesheet on every 15th of the month and the first day of the following month
- Any other duties assigned by the team leader but not limited to the above
Requirements:
- Bachelor, Diploma in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture or equivalent with 3 years experience (for Horticulturist) and 6 years experience (for Senior Horticulturist) in a professional landscape architectural design service firm
- Excellent knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and experienced in Planting Design
- A passion for softscape design is preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Word and Excel
- Excellent graphics, strong design and effective communication skills are essential
- Highly motivated, proactive with positive outlook and able to work independently as well as a team
- Must be mature, well organized, and confident with a pleasant disposition and strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task
- Quick learner with a high level of commitment will have an advantage
- Willing and able to occasionally travel overseas
- Applicants with less experience who can demonstrate exceptional design skill and potential will also be considered
